Ralph Nader, Independent candidate for President is busy securing his place on state ballots for the 2008 election. He successfully achieved access on the ballot of a fourth state, Colorado. His goal – to be on 40 states ballots.
Election Unspun spent a few moments with Nader in DC where he says he's struggling to gain the support of liberals.
Progressive Democrats Push to Unseat Incumbent Democrats in Congress
Healthcare not Warfare. That's the motto of the group, Progressive Democrats of America. They've endorsed 17 Congressional and Senate candidates who, they say, fit the progressive doctrine. One, is Ed O'Reilly, he just received enough support in Massachusetts to be placed on the ballot. O'Reilly will challenge Senator John Kerry in the primary, Kerry's first primary challenger in 24 years. Tim Carpenter is Executive Director of Progressive Democrats of America.
