Apr. 4, Headlines - 40 million dollars, that how much Barack Obama raised in March. That's twice the amount raised by Senator Hillary Clinton. Obama's campaign received over 200,000 new donors with the average donation being around 96 dollars.

Obama has now raised 190 million dollars, that is more money than George Bush raised and spent in his 2000 general election campaign. Clinton has raised 150 million.

John Edward says he will not share a ticket with Obama or Clinton. Speaking at the annual wireless industry convention in Las Vegas, Edwards also declined to voice support for either of the candidates.Obama supporters

Former Congressman Bob Barr of Georgia has expressed interest is running for president with the libertarian party. Barr was the House floor manager of Bill Clinton's impeachment. Critics say that Barr intering the race would likely take some votes from John McCain.
