Whose memory will be more forgiving - the conservatives, or the Latinos?

Federico Subervi, Professor at Texas State University and Author of The Mass Media and Latino Politics, says the challenge is how the Latino oriented media and what their focus will be on. John McCain

"If they focus on.. immigration reform, then he'll have a number of favorable Latino votes. But if they point the contradictions in his campaign and how he mostly the people who he's surrounded by hold true to the convictions of his party and anti-immigration reform and some anti-immigrant stances. If that gets played he won't have that much of a following."
