Super delegates have no loyalty except to the party and don't have to chose the candidate that wins the popular vote says Eddie Hailes, voting protection advocate. A phenomenon that allows the party, not the people, to chose the nominee.

Super Delegate are very influential by design, and put disproportionate voting power in the hands of few, over the wishes of the Democratic voter. They can change their vote up until the Democratic convention, and are not bound by the popular voter in there states, they can vote as they wish as long as it is in 'the best interest of their party'.
