Mar. 24, Headlines - The campaign trail was quiet on this holiday weekend. Hillary Clinton took three days off and is returning today to deliver what her campaign calls a 'major policy address' in Philadelphia.

Barack Obama is taking a short vacation and is expected to hit the trail again on Wednesday.

But before the Democratic candidates retreated for a little R and R, former candidate and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson endorsed Obama. He joined Obama at an event in Oregon on Friday where he said Obama's speech on race moved him to stand behind the candidate. Richardson, who was Secretary of the Energy and UN Ambassador under President Bill Clinton said it was hard to break the news to his long time friends. Bill Richardson endorses Barack Obama
