"Sitting down at the table, having your picture taken with a tyrant such as Raul Castro lends the status of our office, and the status of our country to him. He gets to say 'Look at me, I'm sitting down with the President of the United States."

Ralph Nader chose his running mate - Matt Gonzales, former head of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. At a news conference in Washington DC, Nader said he "wanted someone who… has a record of accomplishment in areas such as election reform, criminal justice, and the creation of the highest minimum wage in the country."

Nader announced his bid for President Sunday. He has not yet announced if he would run as an Independent or as a Green Party candidate.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced he will not enter the Presidential race, after months of speculation, the Mayor announced his decision in an Op-Ed in the New York Times. He did say he's support a candidate that takes "an independent, nonpartisan approach."
