May 1, Headlines - Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack
Obama are in a tight race
- for 25 dollar donations. Both camps are enticing low dollar donors by offering
matching contributions from other previous donors. In a statement, Obama said
the funds are to prepare for negative ad campaigns that may come from Presumptive
Republican nominee John McCain in
the upcoming general election. Meanwhile, Clinton says she is quote roaring
back with her campaign after a win in Pennsylvania.

Apr. 28, Feature - Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the former Pastor of Trinity
United Church of Christ in Chicago has made a very public appearance at a two day conference
in Washington DC. At the National Press Club, with 30 television cameras and
twice as many reporters, Reverend Wright spoke to a welcoming audience of mostly
African American church leaders from around the country.

McCain traveled to New Orleans where
he spoke in the lower
9th Ward which is still not rebuilt from Hurricane Katrina.
McCain said faulted the President for mishandling the response and recovery.

Clinton and Barack Obama. Both spent the last hours aggressively campaigning
across the state. Meanwhile the the latest
fundraising reports show Obama
has 5 times more money than Clinton. Obama made 40 million dollars in March.
Clinton raised twenty million but is ten million dollars in debt.
