Feb. 26, Headlines - Some media outlets are reporting that Barack Obama is trying to persuade Jewish voters that he's pro-Israel. With significant Jewish populations in Texas and Ohio, Obama met with Jewish leaders in Ohio Sunday. Ralph Nader said Obama used to be Pro-Palestinian but has since switched his stance.

Obama adviser Dr. Susan Rice responded to an Election Unspun question about the issue:

"Senator Obama has a consistent strong and long record of support for Israel, he understands the crucial nature of that alliance."

Hillary ClintonHer campaign is denying claims that it put out a picture dressed in traditional Kenyan attire while on a trip there. Critics say the picture was meant to invoke stereotypes and rehash rumors that Obama is a Muslim. Obama, a Christian, called the picture a smear. The Clinton campaign denied responsibility but did not defend the picture.

Clinton is responding to Obama's criticism of her NAFTA policy. She says NAFTA was "negotiated" by the first President Bush, not by her husband.

President Clinton did sign NAFTA into law in 1993.
