Recently she and other tenant leaders from around the country marched to the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington DC to demand a meeting with Barack Obama and John McCain. She talked with Election Unspun producer Karen Miller about the groups concerns.

Some of the issues are a fully fund Section 8, and other HUD Programs, adopt the Legislation to save at risk HUM multiple family houses, support rent reform.

They don't have enough money, they need the subsidized housing in order to have money to pay or gas, and get other things to live.

One of the top issues around the country continues to be the home foreclosure crisis. Linda Couch is Deputy Director of the National Low Income Housing Coalition says both John McCain and Barack Obama are backing the current thought of the day on how to solve the problem.
