June 26 - With many Americans continue to grapple with issues of the economy, housing, especially for those with low or moderate incomes, continues to be an issue of concern. Charlotte Rodgers is a board member of the National Alliance of HUD tenants.

Recently she and other tenant leaders from around the country marched to the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington DC to demand a meeting with Barack Obama and John McCain. She talked with Election Unspun producer Karen Miller about the groups concerns.

Some of the issues are a fully fund Section 8, and other HUD Programs, adopt the Legislation to save at risk HUM multiple family houses, support rent reform.

They don't have enough money, they need the subsidized housing in order to have money to pay or gas, and get other things to live.
